Conscious Duration at the Null Frontier: Conjugate Co-Expansion, Resonant Host Regulation, and the Emergence of Experienced Duration in Registration Theory

This foundational research paper advances an explicit heterodox conjecture in Registration Theory (RT): consciousness emerges when a persistent host develops the capacity to selectively receive, distinguish, resonantly synchronize, retain, and internally regulate incoming conjugate organizations within its finite registration-processing capacity. The host's experience is proposed to consist of the stable, consequentially distinguishable subset of generative conjugate activity that its own internal organization can integrate and compare over maintained duration. Consciousness is therefore not assumed primitive and does not create spacetime geometry; it is proposed as a host-level emergence of regulated, resonant, self-maintaining physical registration. Version 0.2 explicitly introduces the Postulate of Regulated Conjugate Consciousness alongside the Conscious Duration at the Null Frontier postulate. Within this framework, a null generative frontier may advance without accumulating Lorentzian proper time, while resonantly retained and opposed null-compatible organizations can constitute stationary, timelike, proper-time-bearing hosts. Apparent physical stationarity and separation may coexist with continuing generative expansion through host-relative co-expansion and relational measurement. The paper provides conditional mathematical constructions for expanding null cones, composite timelike momentum, and common-mode expansion cancellation. It further develops a finite-capacity host-reception model incorporating resonance, synchronization, consequential retention, and internal regulatory feedback. The mathematical results establish consistency and structural constraints within explicitly stated models. The emergence of subjective consciousness remains a foundational conjecture rather than a demonstrated theorem. The manuscript identifies the physical reconstruction requirements and possible failure conditions. This research proposes a unified ontological relationship among primitive Trinity registration, generative expansion, proper duration, persistent host organization, and the emergence of conscious experience.
